Make the set of choices clear

For numbers, both the minimum and maximum are included. A range from 1 to 6 can return any of those six integers. Unique mode prevents a number appearing twice in the same batch. For list mode, blank lines are removed and selection is without replacement by line position. If the same label appears on two separate lines, it has two entries and may appear twice in the output.

Randomness without a simple modulo bias

The tool uses the browser’s cryptographic random generator. It rejects random values outside an evenly divisible range before selecting an index. This avoids the uneven weighting that a naive remainder operation can introduce. Unique number selection uses a partial shuffle, so even a large range does not require storing every possible number in memory.

A private picker is not an audited draw

The result is generated in this page with no published seed, saved audit trail, or witness process. It is useful for casual selections, exercises, and prototypes, not as a certified lottery or proof that a regulated or consequential selection was conducted fairly. Number ranges are limited to −1 billion through 1 billion, batches to 100 results, and lists to 10,000 entries. Keep important selection decisions subject to their own rules and oversight.

Good questions.

Can a number appear twice?

Yes when unique mode is off. Unique mode prevents duplicates within that generated number batch.

Are duplicate list labels removed?

No. Each non-empty line is a separate entry. Clean the list first if repeated labels should not have extra weight.

Can I reproduce the same result later?

No. This version does not expose a seed or save a history.
