A little transparency

Frequently asked questions

Practical answers about the toolkit, privacy, accuracy, and browser behavior.

Are the tools free?

Yes. There is no tool subscription or payment form. The initial private review deployment may have a hosting-level sign-in gate; the tools themselves have no account system.

Do my text or files get uploaded?

Tool processing takes place in the current browser page. The application does not send tool inputs to a Daykit processing server. Hosting requests still carry ordinary technical data.

How many tools are available?

There are 32 working tools in seven categories. The all-tools directory and HTML sitemap list them, and category pages explain their scope.

Do the tools work offline?

An already loaded page can perform many local operations, but this is not an installed offline app. Initial loading, navigation to an uncached page, and hosting sign-in can require a network connection.

Why do I need JavaScript?

The interactive calculations and file operations run as JavaScript in your browser. The instructions, examples, guides, and navigation are rendered as ordinary HTML.

Can I use them on a phone?

The layout adapts to smaller screens. Your browser, available memory, file support, and clipboard permissions can affect particular operations.

Is a calculated result authoritative?

No. Check the stated method and use the official record or specialized system for important tasks. These are general utilities, not institutional or professional decisions.

Is the site already approved by AdSense?

No approval is claimed. Useful tools, original content, clear navigation, accurate disclosures, and an accessible public deployment are relevant preparation, but the platform makes its own decision.

Where can I find every page?

Use the HTML sitemap for a readable directory. The XML sitemap lists indexable page URLs for crawlers; it does not itself guarantee indexing.

How do I report an error?

Visit Contact & help and include the page, example inputs, expected result, and actual result. Use made-up values so private data is not exposed.
