Privacy policy
How local tool inputs, downloads, hosting requests, and enquiries are handled.
Who and what this policy covers
This policy covers the Daykit website and the browser-based tools it provides. For available contact options, use Contact & help. Hosting providers and external sites have their own policies and may handle separate technical or account information.
Text, calculations, identifiers, and passwords
Text transformations, numerical calculations, random generation, and formatting run in the current browser page. The application does not transmit those tool inputs to a Daykit processing server. It does not save them in cookies, local storage, a database, or a tool account. Values remain in page memory while it is open; a browser may retain form state through its own session restoration or autofill behavior.
Selected files and images
Image resizing, cropping, pixel sampling, favicon creation, and file hashing read the file you select through the browser. Processing takes place locally. The application does not upload the selected file or intentionally copy its metadata to a server. An image export is a newly encoded still image. Downloaded outputs remain on your device until you or another application remove or manage them.
Clipboard and downloads
Copy actions place the displayed result on your system clipboard. Clipboard managers, device backups, browser downloads, and the applications you paste into have their own behavior. Leaving Daykit cannot erase copies held by those systems. Be particularly careful when copying a password or a sensitive fragment of text.
Contact and enquiries
The contact form prepares a message locally. When you download an enquiry, the form creates a text file on your device and does not submit it. No direct support email is configured in this version, and the application does not collect enquiries in an inbox or database. Do not send confidential records or passwords in an enquiry.
Hosting, technical logs, and access
The hosting provider receives information needed to deliver and secure a request, which may include the IP address, requested path, user agent, timestamps, and security logs. A hosting-level sign-in gate can use account information and cookies independently of the tools. The current private review deployment may require ChatGPT sign-in. These hosting and account services are governed by their providers’ applicable policies. Do not place confidential values in a page URL.
Cookies, tracking, and analytics
The application does not currently set its own cookies, save visitor preferences, run analytics scripts, load advertising scripts, or build a visitor profile. This statement does not cover cookies used independently by the hosting platform for access or security. See the cookie policy for the same distinction in more detail.
Advertising and third parties
No Google AdSense or other ads are active in this version. A publisher-account verification meta tag, if configured, does not itself load an ad-serving script. If advertising or analytics is added, the operator must update the disclosures to reflect the actual services, purposes, data, partners, retention, and visitor choices before enabling them. Applicable consent management must be configured for the audience.
Choices and requests
You can leave a tool, remove downloads, manage clipboard history, and clear browser-retained data using your device settings. Those actions do not remove copies shared with other applications or erase hosting-provider records. For questions about an enquiry you sent, contact the operator using the available contact channel. Applicable rights and required retention depend on the actual service and location; this page does not invent rights or retention periods that the deployment cannot implement.
Changes
Review this policy when the site’s hosting, contact method, or data handling changes. The date above identifies the current policy version.
